投稿MSEA 4天收到reject and resubmit，希望还大吗

19号投稿，状态从with editor 直接到 Reject and re-submit，应该是没有送审，编辑直接拒稿了，提的意见里最主要的就是强度性能和组织之间的关系分析的不够深入，像这样的情况 最好是改投其他期刊还是修改后重投，感觉好像没什么希望了。 I am sorry to inform you that I must reject your paper, "******************", at least in its present form, for publication in Materials Science & Engineering A. Please note that MSEA is dedicated to comprehensive in-depth treatments of microstructure-property relationships with substantial impact on our conceptual understanding. In order to be able to consider your paper further, please drastically strenghten the depth of the discussion of strength properties of the material and their relation to microstructure. The scientific content of the current manuscript does not merit to publish your work as a scientific paper, at least with respect to our scope. Furthermore, the conclusion section of your work does not present any conclusions but is rather a short list of facts reported in earlier portions of the paper. Please note, that a good concluding section notes the limitations of the study. It should mention the scope for further research as well as the implications/application of the study. In addition, typesetting of mathematical quantities must be corrected. Variables must be typeset in italics font, sub- and superscripts other than tensorial (counting) indices and mathematical operators must be typeset in upright font. Finally, please remove all instances of "true strain" as this terminology is wrong and replace it by "logarithmic strain". Even though metallurgists use "true strain" quite often, the term is incorrect from a mechanical point of view. (Please note, that the terminology "true stress" is correct - this pair of conjugate strain and stess measures consists of "logarithmic strain" and "true stress". ) If you feel that the paper can be revised to satisfy these criticisms, I will consider the revised version and send out your work for review. If you choose to revise your manuscript it will be due into the Editorial Office by the Nov 22, 2019. Please note that this is a strict deadline. Any papers outstanding in the system after this deadline expires will be withdrawn unless you have contacted the Editorial Office regarding your revised manuscript. |
