Precipitate shearing promotes coarse planar slip by locally work softening the operative slip plane due to the reduced particle cross-section,thus decreasing the strengthening effectiveness of the deformed precipitate. 这个coarse planar slip我从来没听过有这种说法，粗平面滑移？ 整段如下： Deformation Behavior in Aged Al-Li-X Alloys The strengthening response of age-hardenable AlLiCuX alloys depends on the ability of the various precipitates to resist dislocation motion during deformation. All of the aforementioned age-hardenable particles exert some type of force on gliding dislocations and thus contribute to strength. The effectiveness of these precipitates on strengthening depends upon the type, size, morphology, spacing, distribution, coherency, order, volume fraction and number density, and whether these particles are sheared or looped (bypassed) by dislocations. Gliding dislocations either cut or bypass agehardenable precipitates and play a critical role on the overall slip behavior of the alloy.
