Administrative Assistant in Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an, China

The research group of Professor Ehsan Roohi is part of the International Center for Applied Mechanics (ICAM) - 国际应用力学中心 (https://icam.xjtu.edu.cn) located in Xi'an Jiaotong University. It focuses on fundamental research in rarefied gas dynamics, micro/nano flows, and cavitating flows. It uses numerical techniques and softwares to simulate gas flows at small scales or at higher altitude as well as two-phase flows with mass transfer. We are currently looking for an Administrative Assistant to support the activities of the research group. Location: Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an, China Job title: Administrative Assistant Salary: Flexible depending on the candidate. Requirements: Good spoken and written English, highly organised and efficient, administrative skills for financial support. Motivated profiles with an engineering background and/or programming skills will also be considered. Expected activities: Translations (English and Chinese), gather information from Chinese sources, financial management of research funds, communication with university administration, organisation of events, purchasing, update group website.
