审稿人提问的How generalizable are the results 应该怎么回答啊已有1人参与

Section 4.3 is a great starting point but also needs to be developed further beyond a single example for two key reasons: 1)To generalize the results， which will strengthen the case for using this new approach over the existing methods. 2) Provide users with more guidance and information about setting the parameters. How generalizable are the results and conclusions in this section? In computer science, for example, when a new algorithm is proposed it's performance is tested against other algorithms with a set of problems or data sets. The same applies in other fields like forecasting. You start this process with the case study but the robustness of the proposed approach isn't clear. |
