美国招聘bioinformatics 博后一名

大家好，以前博后期间认识的一个老师想在国内招聘bioinformatics 方向的博后一名。人很nice的一位老师，学校所在地方是美国新奥尔良市，一个富有文化气息的城市，学校不大，但条件不错，具体信息见附件，有兴趣的同学可以投简历，祝大家好运！ A bioinformatics scientist position is available at the lab of Dr. Kun Zhang at the Xavier University of Louisiana. This position is sought as part of a newly funded NIH RCMI research project in the development and application of computational approaches to understand the mechanisms of cancer and/or cancer health disparities. Please see our recent publications (Cancer Epidemiol Biomarkers Prev, 2018, PMID: 30262601; Bioinformatics, 2018, PMID: 29950003; BMC Genomics. 2018, PMID:29954330). Funding support for this position is secure for at least four years. We also collaborate with several experimental labs at Tulane University and LSUHSC addressing diverse biological and biomedical questions (e.g. non-coding RNAs, cancer immunology, etc.) regarding cancer progression, metastasis and treatment. Requirements: PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science or Statistics, with a strong interest in multi-omics data integration and/or biological network analysis. Experience in the application and development of bioinformatics algorithms/pipelines or statistical machine learning methods Good programming skills in at least one programing language (e.g. R, Matlab, Python, Perl, Java) and Unix, Windows or Linux working environment Experience working with TCGA, GEO, SEER, COSMIC, 1000 Genomes, ENCODE, or other large-scale data repositories.
