有意见的专家意见如下： The biggest concern with any scientific endeavor or study is holding the false positive rate low (typically an alpha at 0.05) while taking as many samples as possible to maintain the statistical power as high as possible (1 - beta); where beta is the false negative rate. In a study with two samples it has a false negative rate of greater than 99%, unless the variance of repeated samples is zero, which is problematic. At best, this study is a ‘pre-study’ or test. I would not classify it as a scientific study. Thus, it contradicts the name of your journal ‘Applied Sciences.’ |
