(2) authors should introduce the cp-gtaw acronym when it first appeared in the manuscript. (3) what does it mean by the term 'section shrinkage' at the line 4 in the first paragraph of experimental section? (4) due to the pulse frequency in the range of 1khz to 100khz as authors introduced, what is the rational for selecting frequency of 40hz for this study? was it an optimized parameter from previous experiment? what is the influences of frequency on material property? (5) where were the metallographic samples selected from the as-deposited block? were they from vertical cross-section or horizontal plane? since anisotropic mechanical properties were observed for build sample, are there any significant differences in the microstructure at various locations? also, the correlations between microstructure and mechanical strength should be discussed comprehensively for this research. (6) provide clear images and markings for fig.1, bit difficult to read. (7) in conclusion, the grains were refined by ultra-high frequency pulsed arc. the decrease of laves phase and mc carbides should be attributing to the post-heat treatment as indicated in discussion. please make a correct description. (8) language is readable but really falls short of the standard required for a journal publication. i would suggest that it may be useful to engage a professional english language editor following an improvement of the paper.
