文章大修后换了审稿人，审稿人建议撤稿改投 已有2人参与

投的是一个期刊，一审只有一个审稿人，建议大修，按照他的意见修改后重投等了两个多月第一个审稿人失联，换了个审稿人。编辑根据审稿意见决定建议withdraw，这个期刊withdraw可以修改下再投，提交新的修改版本，不能做为新期刊投。下面是科学编辑的意见： A second referee has reviewed this paper, because the first became impossible to contact. The second referee's reaction to this work is rather similar to the first in wondering about the significance and suitability of the paper in the context of *** - and hence is inclined to recommend rejection. With regret, I reach the conclusion that *** isn't the right journal to target for this really rather technical paper that would be much better off as a SPIE publication. Hence my recommendation that the paper should be withdrawn. A secondary issue is the quality of the English - it remains quite a challenging read. The second referee has commented that they are not sure they understand what the intended mean is, in parts of the paper. 审稿人意见： The SPIE Journal of Astronomical Telescopes, Instruments, and Systems might be a better place to publish this material. 审稿人意见只有这一句，负责的编辑说如果撤稿，让他知道，如果不同意撤稿，可以写个request，说明文章为什么值得进一步考虑后修改重投。 这种情况下request该怎么写？接收的希望有吗？ |
