A postdoctoral associate position is available at Li lab, Department of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, College of Pharmacy at the University of Rhode Island, USA. Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Organic Chemist to join our team. Specifically, you will be working in an interdisciplinary group towards the goal of conducting high-impact research in developing cancer related projects. As a rapidly growing laboratory, we recently received a number of grants from National Institutes of Health for supporting our interests in understanding how environmental carcinogens are involved in cancer etiology, and in developing innovative cancer early detection techniques. Requirements -PhD in Organic Chemistry or a related discipline. -Excellent skills in NMR. -Experience in organic synthesis or method development. -Experience in HPLC, LC-MS, and other analytical techniques. -Experience in Nucleic Acid chemistry is highly preferred, but not required.
