Position Summary
A research associate (RA) position is available in Jungseog Kang's lab at NYU-Shanghai.  We study chromosome segregation in higher eukaryotic cells using cell biological, biochemical, and computational methods.  RA is mostly responsible for organizing a functional laboratory and assisting multiple projects in the lab.  

Job Description
Depending on skills and experiences, job responsibilities include: carrying out basic experiments, ordering consumables, managing lab instruments, translating documents, teaching junior members of the lab.

Qualification
•        Required education： m.s. in biology or other relevant fields.
•        Required experience： experience with biological experiments preferred.
•        Required knowledge, skills, and abilities： proficient in both Chinese and English; good interpersonal and communication skills to work in an international and cross-cultural environment; high professional integrity, honesty, and trust; well organized, efficiently managing time, self-motivated.

•        Mps1 regulates spindle morphology through MCRS1 to promote chromosome alignment.   Yang H et. al.  Mol. Biol. Cell (2019) 30:1060-68.
•        Improving drug discovery with high-content phenotypic screens by systematic selection of reporter cell lines.  Kang J et. al.  Nature Biotechnology (2016) 34:70-77.
