职位介绍 This position is open for application in the areas of integrated circuit (IC) design (电路设计), particularly in the direction of low power analog mixed-signal ic design for biomedical applications, including analogue to digital data converter, instrumentation amplifier, voltage/current reference, CMOS/MEMS sensors and sensor interface, custom digital processor, etc. tape-out in advanced technologies are available. the successful candidate will work together with Bo Wang (实验室网站: www.ss-sensing.com). the initial term of the position is for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal, based on mutual interest. the candidate can further be recommended to work in a startup company as a senior design engineer in china or be recommended for faculty positions after completing the contract based on mutual interest. 待遇 HBKU offers a very competitive compensation package that includes an attractive salary and many generous benefits (~600,000 人民币/年, 无需交税). 每年提供往返机票. 专业与背景要求 －a phd. or equivalent degree in electrical engineering or biomedical engineering; －rich experience in cmos circuit design and testing （集成电路设计或化学、生物传感器方向）; －strong background in one or more of the areas listed above; －able to work independently as well as collaboration in a team; －knowledge in bio-engineering or chemical engineering is a plus; －strong english writing and verbal skill; 职位任务 Position duties involve the design, layout and testing of the integrated circuit; publication of research results via journal and conference publications, conference presentations, interaction with academic institutions and industry, etc. the candidate will also help mentor ms and phd. students in the research projects. the candidate will also have the opportunity to develop his/her teaching experience. 应聘方式 candidates can send the following information (.pdf or .doc) to bo wang (bwang@hbku.edu.qa): －cv, including lists of publications, a summary of educational background and work experience if applicable －a soft copy of one or two recent publications considered by the candidate as being representative(s) of his/her work. －optional: short research plan (maximum 1 page) 截止日期 Open until filled 职位开始时间 Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. start date will be immediate or as negotiated.
