| ANOVA with Tukey pair-wise comparison, conic function curve fitting were performed using SPSS 14.0 ( SPSS Inc. Headquarters, 233S.Wacker Drive, Chicago, Illinois 60606 USA) with significance defined at the P<0.05 unless otherwise stated. For certain treatments comparisons, orthogonal contrasts (similar to paired T test) will be used to compare means of two treatments for significant differences. The t-statistic was employed to test differences among treatments and examine wheter the intercepts and the slopes of the regression lines were significantly different from zero. |
