[交流] 德州大学圣安东尼奥分校诚招博士生：Autonomous Systems and Machine Learning

德州大学圣安东尼奥分校(utsa)是德克萨斯大学系统中第三大的学校，也是近年来德州发展最迅速的公立大学之一，位于德州南部著名的渡假城市圣安东尼奥。圣安东尼奥是德州第二大城市，美国第七大城市。德州就业形势良好，被福布斯(forbes)杂志评为就业形势最好的州，德州的奥斯丁、休斯顿、圣安东尼奥和达拉斯组成的“金三角”大都会地区是最容易找到工作的地区。

Fully funded ph.d. positions are available starting fall 2019 (or spring 2020) in autonomous systems, machine learning, human-robot interaction, and artificial intelligence. Research will be conducted in the department of electrical and computer engineering, University of Texas at San Antonio (utsa) under the supervision of Dr. Yongcan Cao.

position description:
required
-       a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field;
-       strong background in systems and control theory, signal processing, or statistics;
-       excellent writing and communication skills;
-       proficiency in python or c++.
preferred
-       master’s degree
-       experience in the robot operating system, machine learning, and deep learning
-       hands-on experience on uavs or ground robots or sensors
-       demonstrated research experience: project or publication
