英文科技论文中引言的撰写与编辑 中国的英文期刊要走向世界，一个不容忽视的问题是英文的表达，特别 是要写好引言部分 1引言内容 引言是整篇论文的引论部分，是开篇之作。简练而精彩的文章引言 对一篇文章而言可谓是事半功倍。一般引言包括五个部分 2概述某一领域研究背景 2说明本研究的起因 3简述研究方法 4详细叙述研究目的 5列举主要发现并总结重要结论。 2如何组织引言 通过引用（citation)展开研究：突出信息型，突出作者型，弱化作者型 ①Shrinking markets are also evident in other areas.The Australian wool industry is experiencing difficulties related to falling demand worldwide since the development of high quality synthetic fibres[突出信息型] ②As Smith points out,the Australian wool industry is experiencing difficulties related to falling demand worldwide since the development of high quality synthetic fibres.[突出作者型] ③Several authors have reported that the Australian wool industy is experiencing difficulties related to falling demand since the development of high quality synthetic fibres弱化作者型 3如何编辑引言 1 引导 通过大标题（informative titles)小标题(subheadings)和引言使读者 了解作者的意图，在段落里要以主题句（topic sentence)作为第一句把作者引到 这段的中心思想上来。 英文科技交流的关键是要给读者建立一种期望。 2一般信息到特殊信息 读者习惯于首先读到关于某一题目的一般信息然后再进入到细节 事例 或其他具体信息 3“已知”信息在前 “新”的信息在后 为便于理解此特点，下面给出 两段文字，它们所包括的信息相同，只是顺序有别。 A The five-year plan does not indicate a clearly defined commitment to long-range environmental research.for instance, the development of techniques rather than the identification and definition of important long-range research. B the five year plan does not indicate a clearly defined commitment to long-range environmental research. for example,where the plan does address long-range research,it discusses the development of techniques rather than identification and definition of important long-range issues 仔细阅读两段文字会发现B文字更易接受。 4句子之间的连接应在前7-9词之间 在A段文字中，要找到第一个连接词 long-range需要读14个词，而B段中，第一个连接词是第2句的第5个词。 英文科技论文的引言基本上包括五个部分，各个部分之间互相依存，目的是将 研究项目的故事徐徐展开。言简意赅，紧扣主题的引言会使整篇论文的价值跃然纸上。 [ Last edited by sdlwwxb on 2005-12-16 at 18:22 ] |
