job description
duties are specifically related to research activities, require an advanced level of knowledge in a field of science or learning, are predominantly intellectual and varied in character, and require consistent use of discretion and judgment.

required education:
•appropriate doctoral degree.  if the degree had not been conferred at the time applicant applied for a postdoc position, a letter needs to be attached from the school's official graduate office and/or registrar's office certifying that all requirements for the degree have been met and stating the degree conferral date.

required knowledge, skills, and abilities:

•ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
preferred education and experience:
•ph.d. degree in pharmaceutical sciences, chemical engineering, biological engineering, nanotechnology, immunology, or related fields.
•prior experience with biomaterials, drug and gene delivery, nanomedicine, tumor targeting, in vitro and in vivo evaluation. hands-on lab experience and publication in the related fields.

preferred knowledge, skills, and abilities:
•experience of grant and manuscript writing.

responsibilities:

•design project and experiments.
•perform the proposed experiments.
•collect and analyze data, and make report to principal investigator in lab meetings.
•actively participate as a member of a research team.
•present research findings to colleagues and at conferences.
•write progress reports and prepare results for publication and dissemination.
•write grants and manuscripts, mentor junior researchers.
•ordering of supplies. performs other duties as assigned
