The group of A. Walcarius has over 20 years of experience in electrochemical sensing using ordered mesoporous silica films. In this Ph.D. training, we aim at developing electrochemical sensing platforms at device level. Electrochromic materials will be applied, as the color change may provide an additional tool for studying the reactions on the electrodes.
