Carbazole ring and piperazine ring are both physiological rings. The combination of the two nitrogen-containing heterocyclic organic compounds greatly enhances the biological activity of individual compound. By modifying carbazole ring with piperazine ring, the potential drugs and pharmaceutical intermediates with excellent antibacterial activity would be obtained. Carbazole ring and piperazine ring belong to the ring systems that exhibit good physiological activities. The organic combination of two nitrogen containing heterocycles could enhance their respective physiological activities significantly.
