Call for Papers The Second IEEE International Workshop on Wireless Network Algorithm and Theory (IEEE WiNA-09) Macau SAR, China, October 5, 2009 http://wina2009.csie.chu.edu.tw/ (Co-located with The Sixth IEEE International Conference on Mobile Ad-hoc and Sensor Systems, IEEE MASS 2009) The Second IEEE International Workshop on Wireless Networks Algorithm and Theory (WiNA-09), as an international workshop, is devoted to deeper understanding in the algorithms and fundamental problems of wireless networks including mobile ad hoc networks, wireless sensor networks, vehicular ad hoc networks, underwater sensor networks, and all kinds of wireless networks. The workshop is intended to encourage cooperation among researchers in wireless networking algorithms, and push the theoretical and practical research forward for a deeper understanding in the fundamental algorithm, modeling theory, and analysis techniques of wireless networks. All submissions must describe original research, not published or currently under review for another workshop, conference, or journal. WiNA-09 is in conjunction with The Sixth IEEE International Conference on Mobile Ad-hoc and Sensor Systems (IEEE MASS 2009) and all accepted papers will be published in IEEE Explore and included in EI index. Accepted papers must not exceed six single-spaced, double-column pages using 10 pt size fonts on 8.5? 11 inch pages in IEEE style format. Papers must be submitted electronically through the following website: http://edas.info/N7628 Workshop Topics (include but are not limited to the following) -Algorithms and theory for wireless networks including mobile ad hoc networks, wireless sensor networks, vehicular ad hoc networks, underwater sensor networks, and any kind of multi-hop wireless networks -Theoretical graph and geometric models for multiple-hop wireless networks -Complexity analysis of algorithms for wireless mobile environments -Routing algorithms and strategies in multi-hop wireless networks -Power optimization strategies in mobile wireless networks. -Throughput, capacity, and delay analysis on mobile wireless networks. -Data and resource management in wireless mobile networks -Clustering and cooperative strategies in mobile multi-hop wireless networks -Coverage and survivability problems in wireless sensor networks -Modeling for tracking and locating mobile users -Information theory and network coding for multi-hop wireless networks -Security, privacy, and cryptographic protocols theory for multi-hop wireless networks Important dates of WiNA-09 Registration Due: (1 May 2009) Submission Due: (10 May 2009) Notification of Acceptance: (10 July 2009) Final Camera-Ready Due: (24 July 2009) Workshop Dates: (5 October 2009) Publication Selected best papers in WiNA-09 will be invited to be published in a special issue in International Journal of Ad Hoc and Ubiquitous Computing (SCIE, EI).
