Abstract
   Preservative is a type of  substance which could prevent corrosion, kill bacteria and inhibit the growth of microorganisms. In this article ,we synthesized several series of food and commetics preservatives with broad spectrum and highly- effectiveness, and the synthetical process was also investigated. A pilot scale research was performed and thus the optimum parameters were obtained, which laid a good foundation for the industrial production of preservative series.
In addition,  the identification and quantitative analysis of the preservative series were carried out with the aid of infrared and elemental analysis technologies.

The whole paper is divided into five chapters that covering the following five areas:
Chapter 1. Introduction. In this chapter, the history of preservatives and research progress were briefly introduced. Basing on the actual condition of the laboratory, the tentative concept and ideas were also put forward.

Chapter 2. The detailed preparation process of Germall series preservative were introduced. The emphasis of this chapter was put on the drying technology of preservatives. A new type of drying technology was introduced, which provided a new effective approach in the drying of  preservatives.

Chapter 3. The preparation  method of the Nipagin ester series (A,B, C,D) preservatives was investigated. The influence of different catalysts, catalyst concentration, reaction period and ratio of acid to alcohol on the final products were studied, respectively. Common problems in synthetical process such as  water-borne, crystal, discoloration etc. were discussed in depth and new resolutions were also proposed.

Chapter 4. The synthesis of the water-soluble modified Nipagin ester series (A, C)  preservatives was investigated. The influence of  raw materials, reaction temperature and feeding mode on the final products were studied, and the optimum conditions were attained. The final products were characterized refering to the Pharmacopoeia standards .

Chapter 5. The summary of this paper was made and related research plan was raised.

The preservatives is a kind of material which can prevent corrosion,kill bacteria and inhibit the growth of microorganisms.In this article ,we synthesized several series broad spectrum, highly effective food and  cosmetics antiseptic, and researched its synthesis process.A suitable scale experimental enlargement experiment had been carried out,and  obtained a relatively mature pilot technique for the industrialization of the series products.A qualitative and quantitative analysis of the synthetic product had been done by the  use of infrared and elemental analysis technologies.
