【更新】上海大学Exciting Shanghai School国际研讨会 - 截止日延长至20日！

Exciting Shanghai School国际研讨会 https://icqms.shu.edu.cn/exciting_shanghai_2018/index.html Exciting Shanghai School国际研讨会 将于2018年11月17日-22日在上海大学举办。本期国际研讨的目的是向DFT的初学者（硕士生、博士生以及博后）介绍DFT的理论基础乃至计算机软件中的实际应用。特别是将讲述Exciting软件中应用的全电子全势增强平面法。在手把手环节和教程中我们将会讨论材料性质计算的专业技能，例如针对结构、磁性、线性和非线性光学，以及磁光性质等。最后将介绍欧洲NOMAD (Novel Materials Discovery)数据库。 The purpose of the school is to provide an introduction to DFT for beginners (master students, PhDs, and post-docs) ranging from its theoretical foundations to practical implementations in computer softwares. In particular, the full electron full potential augmented plane method will be described as implemented in the Exciting software. The necessary know-how for calculating materials property such as structural, magnetic, linear and non-linear optical, and magneto-optical properties etc will be discussed through hands-on sessions and tutorials.
