[求助] 投过elsevier旗下的Pattern Recoginiton的帮忙看看这是什么意思 已有1人参与

前不久投elsevier旗下的Pattern Recoginiton。with editor后直接decision in process。结果今天收到退稿信，没有送外审。但是看了信觉得似乎可以重投。我把信件附在下面，希望有投稿经验的同仁帮忙分析一下：（1）是否可以重投？（2）是不是需要增加对该期刊的引用，因为之前投稿时参考文献没有发表在PR上的论文。（3）最后一句是不是要在引言里说清研究内容和模式识别的关系？

Dear xxx,

Thank you for your interest and submission to Pattern Recognition. Unfortunately, based on evaluation, this manuscript, in the present state, is not suitable for publication in Pattern Recognition. The reasons for this decision are explained below in the Editor's comments.

However, resubmission of a thoroughly revised manuscript may be considered. In the revision, all issues raised in the review process should be addressed adequately. If you choose to submit a revision, please include the manuscript number of this current submission and a point by point response to the comments by the editor and/or reviewers in the resubmission cover letter.  

Editor's comments:
This work addresses an application problem of pattern recognition, definitely falling in the scope of PR Journal. However, the work is not well grounded in the literature of PR and related journals and conferences. Please carefully formulate the problem in pattern recognition form (such as classification, regresion, feature extraction, clustering), and illustrate the relationship with related pattern recognition research adequately.

论文解决了一个应用，不符合期刊领域，重投需要解释一些与该期刊的相关性(比如分类，回归，特征提取等)。可能编辑认为缺乏理论创新，以及论文问题研究方向与模式识别相关性需要说明。有一个师弟中过一篇，周期也挺长。

谢谢，另外“However, the work is not well grounded in the literature of PR and related journals and conferences.”这一句话，是不是指要增加该期刊论文的引用？
