The successful applicant should have previous training and experience in foodborne pathogens, microbial inactivation, and molecular biological techniques. It is also desirable with knowledge or research experience on viruses. The successful applicant is expected to conduct an interdisciplinary research in the field of microbial disinfection on soft surfaces and work closely with other faculty and graduate students on a NIH RO1 research project. The position with a competitive stipend is renewable but subject to annual evaluation. |
