美国纽约州立大学工业工程系(先进制造技术领域)全奖博士招生
课题组现招收全额奖学金博士生一名,科研方向为金属和复合材料的增材制造(3d打印)技术研究,2019年春季入学。同时课题组也欢迎国家公派的访问学者和学生来课题组交流合作。博士生职位需求具体如下:
the department of systems science and industrial engineering (ssie) at state university of new york (suny) at binghamton invites applications for a ph.d. student position starting in . the successful candidate will be financially supported by dr. fuda ning to pursue research in the areas of additive manufacturing. dr. ning authored and co-authored more than 40 publications, which have been cited for over 650 times. he is the invited reviewer for over 20 journals and serves as the member of asme and sme. his main research interests include
laser additive manufacturing (3d printing) of metallic and composite parts
extrusion-based additive manufacturing of novel composite materials
additive-subtractive hybrid manufacturing
ultrasonic vibration assisted manufacturing technology

requirements:
for this position, the applicants must have a b.s. or m.s. degree (preferred) in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, material sciences, or a closely related field. preference will be given to the highly motivated candidate with research background/knowledge in additive manufacturing.
