天普大学医学院招收造血干细胞研究访问学者（带薪）或博士后。要求有分子生物学相关专业背景及实验技能。对造血干细胞或者白血病研究感兴趣。在干细胞与基因组学等领域有研究经验或专业背景者优先申请。具备独立科研及合作研究的能力、英语书面语及口语交流的能力等。感兴趣的申请者请访问https://medicine.temple.edu/jian-huang并联系（email：jianh@temple.edu ） DEPARTMENT OF PATHOLOGY, SCHOOL OF MEDICINE TEMPLE UNIVERSITY A visiting scholar or postdoctoral position is immediately available in the laboratory of Jian Huang, MD, PhD, in the Department of Pathology, at the Temple University School of Medicine. Research in my laboratory is focused on understanding the mechanisms controlling self-renewal and differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs). One of ongoing exciting projects is to identify novel signaling pathways that regulate self-renewal of HSCs using in vitro and in vivo approaches. Another active project is to identify new targets in leukemia therapy with a multiplexed genome editing CRISPR screening platform. Mouse and cell model systems, including conditional gene knockouts, will be used in these research projects, and many state of the art techniques are employed, such as real time PCR, CRISPR/Cas9 Genome Editing, RNA-Seq and ChIP Seq, confocal microscopy, real time imaging and advanced microscopy, multicolor flow and sorting to explore the regulation of mouse and human cord blood HSCs function. The Temple University School of Medicine and University of Penn (very close to Temple) has a group of outstanding scientists and collaborators in hematopoiesis research. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work with them and get help in developing an independent career in this research field. The period of visiting is one year. Applicants must have proven skills and experience in molecular biology. We are seeking talented and self-motivated candidates with a good work ethic, and a strong interest in hematopoiesis. Candidates with background and experience in stem cells, mouse in vivo studies and genomics are preferred. Good writing and oral communication skills in English are required as well as the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
