Dr. Rui Zhao’s lab in University of Nebraska Omaha is recruiting PhD students (Spring/Fall 2019) with full financial support. The University of Nebraska Omaha is one of the twelve schools in the U.S. that have been named a Center of Academic Excellence in Information Assurance Education (CAE-IAE) by the National Security Agency (NSA). The successful candidates are expected to work on research areas in Cybersecurity, including Web, cloud, and mobile security and privacy, applied cryptography, vulnerability exploration, and human computer interaction. Preferred candidates should be self-motivated, responsible, and have the curiosity and determination to explore the path to develop himself/herself into an outstanding security researcher. Candidates with CS, EE or other relevant backgrounds will be considered, and an earned Master degree is a plus.
