Comments from the editors and reviewers: -Reviewer 1 After reviewing this paper, a few comments have been made: 1. The ideas are not new 2. The quality of this paper has not met the requirement of this journal -Reviewer 2 This paper presents a mathematical analysis of strength reduction parameters for slope stability analysis. Overall the paper is well organised. The English is generally good, but needs some editing to improve minor grammatical problems. The material relies entirely on mathematical analysis of theoretical slopes with no application to real-world examples. 等待三个月后，两个审稿专家这么简单的意见，第一个专家直接说不行，第二个专家认为还可以，最后主编直接就把这篇文章干掉了。 第一个专家认为论文的观点不新，这个确实不敢苟同啊，仅仅凭这一点，我就知道他压根儿没有认真看文章内容。 看来投稿也需要运气，万一送到认同自己论文观点的审稿人手里，就一切顺利。 |
