[交流] 外导什么意思？求解读。已有4人参与

我是今年六月毕业的博士，读博期间联系过这位外导，毕业后再次联系，询问有无机会去做博后，外导回复如下，这是什么意思呢？是否我自己找到资助后就可以去博后的意思？那如果是自己找资助，外方不发工资，这能算博后吗？
As for studying at ..., we do not have any funding for post-doctoral students, but we do accept post-doc students who secure funding from other sources. I have worked with a couple of students from Asia who were able to secure Fulbright funding, one from China and another from Korea. I think that is your best option to try to study here.
