ÀϰåºÍXARION Laser Acoustics¹«Ë¾µÄÒ»¸öºÏ×÷ÏîÄ¿ÏÖÔÚÕÐÆ¸Ò»Ãû×ö¹âÉù·½ÏòµÄ²©Ê¿ºó¡£¾ßÌåÏîÄ¿ÊÇ×ö¹âÉù¸¹Ç»¾µ¡£¸ÐÐËȤµÄ»°¿ÉÒÔÁªÏµProf. Wolfgang Drexler£¬ËûµÄÓÊÏäÊÇwolfgang.drexler@meduniwien.ac.at¡£ÕÐÆ¸ÐÅÏ¢¼ûÏÂÎÄ£º Postdoc with experience in optical engineering and photonics Medical University of Vienna, Center for Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering, and XARION Laser Acoustics GmbH, creator of groundbreaking, high-performance sensor solutions, are currently seeking a postdoc with experience in photoacoustics and photonics for the ongoing development of a medical imaging probe. The applicant needs a PhD degree in physics or a related field. We are looking for a self-driven person living up to the highest professional standards. Along with a creative, problem-solving attitude, he or she should have advanced knowledge in: • Optical engineering • Laser physics, with a focus on interferometry, fiber optics • Optical imaging (data acquisition, 2D and 3D image reconstruction) • Experimental work in a photonics lab • Software with a focus on LabVIEW, MATLAB, and Zemax • Acoustics, especially in the field of ultrasound. Experience in photoacoustics is desirable. His or her responsibilities will be: • Simulation, design, optimization and testing of a novel endoscopic sensor for photoacoustic imaging based on XARION¡¯s Optical Microphone technology • Independent experimental work with a photoacoustic imaging lab setup based on optical scanning technology (hardware and software). • Work in close cooperation between Medical University of Vienna and XARION Laser Acoustics GmbH; measure phantom and tissue targets • Documentation and presentation of the results, publications, patents • Successfully leading this research project into an industrialization transition phase in cooperation with our endoscopy firm partner The successful candidate will be situated at the Medical University of Vienna on a full-time basis. While limited to eight months, this position offers the possibility to be hired as a permanent staff member by XARION after this joint project. Annual income as a postdoc is EUR 51,955. |
