Pray for a peaceful world

Recently I have read some cases of sexual harassment conducted by some famous cultural celebrities on microblog. I almost ran into a towering rage. After the exposure of some immoral and illegal affairs, I come to realize that women still have little space to enjoy the freedom and justice the society has promised. It seems that women are still struggling in the crack of the patriarchal society. A survey suggests that women's social statas has become lower compared to that twenty years ago. Most of the public opinions are brainwashing women to go home and be a good wife and a kind mother. Women find it more and more difficult to balance between family and career. Meanwhile, few organizations and departments can offer immediate help and guidance when they face unjust treatment. Luckily, more and more women are becoming brave to make their voices heard and fight for justice they deserve. I pray for a peaceful and just world. 发自小木虫Android客户端 |

As a man, I strongly support ferminism which in fact benefits both women and men. However, it is a pity that nowadays there are still various discriminations related to, such as marriage and career, against women in our society. We men should stand by women to fight against the sexual discriminations. On the other hand, we should also take care of overcorrection. For example, men and women should strive for equal rights rather than privileges. The ideal situation I can think of is that men and women have equal rights to share social resources, and take equal responsibities to better our society including its basic units, i.e., families. Peace & Love. |
