新加坡国立大学化工系招收battery modelling and simulation博士后 已有2人参与

We are looking for a battery modelling and simulation researcher to conduct research on battery life time prediction using statistical method and machine learning algorithm. The candidate should be familiar with both electrochemical systems as well as various computational methods for modelling and simulation. Requirement: • PhD in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or any relevant science and engineering disciplines. • The candidate is familiar with statistical methods such as Bayesian parameter estimation, general machine learning concepts (e.g. artificial neural network) • Familiar with computational methods and electrochemical modelling software • Familiar with Matlab, Python, and computation algorithms • Good analytical skills, able to break down problems • Experience with battery research preferred • You are driven, independent and resourceful • Fluent in English (both written and spoken) and good communication skills Interested candidates, please send to following to Prof. Zheng at chezg@nus.edu.sg • Updated resume • 2-3 reference letters • Statement of research interest About the PI: Dr. Wesley Zheng Guangyuan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at National University of Singapore. He received his B.A. and M.A. degrees from University of Cambridge and his PhD at Stanford University. His PhD research work focused on developing high capacity electrodes for advanced lithium batteries. Dr. Zheng carried out post-doctoral work in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Stanford University, under the supervision of Prof. Yi Cui and Prof. Steven Chu. Dr. Zheng has published more than 50 papers in journals like Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communication, Proceedings of the National Academy of Science, Nano Letters, Energy and Environmental Sciences etc., and the papers have been cited more than 11000 times. Dr. Zheng is a recipient of the Material Research Society Graduate Student Award, and the National Science Scholarship from A*STAR. He was also nominated as a finalist for the 2014 World Technology Award and the recipient of the 2018 MIT Technology Review Innovators Under 35 Asia award. |
