[交流] Rolls-Royce@NTU Corporate Lab招聘博后已有2人参与

There are exciting opportunities arising within Rolls-Royce@NTU Corporate Lab, a joint corporate research venture between Rolls-Royce and Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. In order to fill the current vacancies, we welcome applications from ambitious materials scientists. Successful candidates will team up with NTU faculty members and Rolls-Royce technical specialists so as to deliver significant results to both the academia and the industry.

Required:
• Doctorate in Materials Science / Physics / Chemistry / Metallurgy.
• Domain expertise in (1) Rare earth magnetic materials / magnetism / functional materials; (2) Materials performance / Materials ageing; (3) Materials characterization.
• Hand-on experience in fundamental and advanced materials characterization techniques (XRD, SEM / TEM / HRTEM, FIB etc.) and ability to interpret the data (X-ray Rietveld refinement, image processing etc.)
• Teamwork spirit coupled with a “can do” attitude and good communications skills.
• Good command of oral and written English.

Desirable:
• Additional expertise in following domains: (1) powder metallurgy; (3) corrosion protection; (3) oxidation kinetics; (4) first principle modelling of materials.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise junior researchers and PhD students within the research group.
• Candidate with strong publication / patent records will be preferred.
• Demonstrated project leadership and ability to interact with research partners and funding agencies.

Compensation:
• Fixed monthly income commensurate with the candidate’s experience and capabilities.
• Annual performance bonus.
