Post doctoral researcher position available in the laboratory of Dr. Junran Zhang with The Ohio State University, Wexner Medical Center, Arthur G. James Comprehensive Cancer Center and Richard L. Solove Research Institute, https://radiationoncology.osu.edu/research/junranzhang/index.cfm. Focusing on the study of DNA damage response (DDR) and investigating how DDR can be exploited for personalized medicine. This position will conduct research to identify novel genes involved in DDR and examines their role in cancer development and cancer therapy; participate in grants submissions; train staff in molecular biology techniques. Education/Experience: Doctoral Degree in cancer/cell/molecular biology, biochemistry or related field required. Expertise in tissue culture, protein biochemistry & molecular biology technique, immunofluorescence microscopy preferred. Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
