on idols

Everyone has his/her idols in their entire lives,more or less. Those shining people,admired and liked by millions of average men,seem to be god-sent geniuses who are born to instruct and help people like you and me. I have my constant idol over the past ten years and he is Lebron James, a GOAT basketball superstar in the present NBA league. This guy or this superman is a wonderful combination of talent and endeavour. I can’t use words to explain how great he is,but I am able to express what I have learned from him. Like some great guys in other fields ,James led a rather unsteady life when he was growing up. He is a fatherless child,but,fortunately,he has a wonderful mother and nice friends. Realizing that her son would be better off in a more stable family environment, his mother,Gloria,allowed him to move in with the family of Frank Walker, a local youth football coach, who introduced James to basketball when he was nine years old. When he was in high school,his gift for basketball emerged. After he finished high school,he went to the NBA league instead of entering a college. He was selected by his home team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, as the first overall pick of the 2003 NBA draft. His early life is kind of miserable compared to other superstars in his times,but he didn’t give up himself and was given lots of care and love from his family and friends. Principal among them is Michael Jordan, the great-of-all-time basketball athlete in NBA league. In his early career, his achievement has transcended many other basketball players,while he still fell short of a championship. He needed a partner who can give him tremendous help. He left his home team for another team,Miami Heat, and got a great deal of support from his closest friend with whom he won his first championship and another one the following season. He knew that he owed his former team and his hometown a championship,so he went home in 2014 and won a title for his hometown. In his fifteen NBA career,he keeps competitive and perfects his basketball skills or his expertise all the time,technically. He has ups and downs,but he is able to get over those hard times. He is such a strong man,both physically and mentally,that one one will fail to respect and admire him. What impresses me most is that his determination to win and his strong mind. Moreover,one’s success attributes to many factors,some are under our control and some are beyond our control,in which persistent hard-work and making right decisions are two main contributors. He is growing mature,and I am growing mature,too. He has set a excellent example of how to be a man,a father,a leader,a son, and I should learn from him and be a better man.Do you have any idol that has great impact on you?
