The pour point of crude oil is mainly determined by wax content and wax molecular weight. The higher the wax content of crude oil, and its pour point higher.The viscosity of crude oil mainly determined by the colloid and asphaltene, the higher the colloid and asphaltene of crude oil, and its viscosity higher. Adding different pour point depressant, dispersant or viscosity reducer for different crude oil can improve flow properties of crude oil at low-temperature.
