Job Description
Advanced Photonics Research (APR) Lab at School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore is seeking a candidate for a postdoctoral research fellow position in the field of optoelectronics/nanophotonics based on emerging materials (e.g. 2D layered materials and perovskite). The central theme of our research focuses on developing a new class of semiconductor-based light sources for next-generation optical and quantum computing. Successful candidates are expected to perform the following tasks:
- Device design, fabrication, and characterisation of optoelectronic/nanophotonic devices using 2D materials

Successful candidates should possess:
- PhD degree in electrical engineering, materials science & engineering, applied physics or related areas

Salary and terms of employment:
Successful candidates can expect competitive salary and benefits. Monthly salary will be determined based on educational qualifications and research experience. Settling-in allowance will also be provided. The period of employment is 2 years.

NTU EEE has been ranked 6th in the world for the Electrical and Electronic Engineering subject according to the 2017 QS World University Rankings.
