Properties of Petroleum Reservoir Fluids by Emil J Burcik This volume was reprinted by IHRDC because of the strong demand in our reservoir engineering short courses and elsewhere for an excellent book on the fundamentals of reservoir rock and fluid properties. Originally published by John Wiley & Sons, 111~. in 1957 (second printing in 1961), copyright has been reassigned to Burcik and he has given us special permission to reprint this classic book which has been out of print for a number of years. The basis for petroleum conservation and maximization of recovery is to be found in a proper application of reservoir engineering. A systematic exposition of reservoir engineering fundamentals is to be found in a thorough reading of this volume.
