新加坡国立大学化学与生物工程系Prof. Siowling Soh课题组招聘多名博后及科研助理，有意者请尽快联系： Multiple positions are available for experienced Research Fellows and Research Assistants in the laboratory of Dr. Siowling Soh, at the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS). The research in the laboratory is highly interdisciplinary, and there is a wide range of projects to choose from. In general, the research field is in polymers, hydrogels, and particles. We seek to develop “smart” systems and “smart” responsive materials for interesting applications. The projects have a combination of fundamental investigations and development of applications. As an example, in one project, we are interested in developing “smart polymeric particles” that combine polymeric matrices and biochemical reactions. In another project, we are developing programmable functional polymers (or polymer-metal composites) for antistatic surfaces. The underlying aim of our research is to introduce “smartness” in materials by combining the properties of different types of advanced materials. The ideal candidates are preferably material scientists, engineers (e.g., chemical, mechanical, etc), chemists, or researchers in a related field. The candidates must be experienced (e.g., with a relevant Ph.D. degree or have adequate experience in research without a Ph.D. degree). Those with a polymer background will be preferred. Candidates must have good hands-on skills in experimental work, are independent in research, and have good problem-solving skills.
