Pentacyclic triterpenoids which have a wide range of biological activity is a class of widely exist in nature,and the anti-tumor effect is one of its main activities. It works in inhibiting tumor cell proliferation and angiogenesis, inducing tumor cell apoptosis and reversaling of drug resistance. As its complex and diverse mechanism which contains several targets,the pentacyclic triterpenoids has become a lead class of potential anti-tumor compounds and caused global extencive attention on the field of antineoplastic drugs. The paper reviews the mechanism of anti-tumor research in recent years. |
