【2009-5-11】The 2009 E-MRS Fall Meeting-abstract submission

The E-MRS Fall Meeting has been organised since 2002 as a twin conference to the Spring Meeting held every year in Strasbourg. During that time the Fall Meeting has grew from 3 symposia and about 200 participants in 2002 to 12 symposia and around 750 participants in 2008. What is also important the conference became multi-national and has representatives from all over the world. The Fall Meeting organizers follow the procedures developed over the years by the Society to host wide ranging multi-disciplinary conference to bring established scientists with a world reputation together to share their state-of-the-art knowledge and experience. The most important philosophy of E-MRS is to facilitate scientific and social contacts between established researchers, young scientists and Ph.D. students and promote technology transfer from public institutions to industry. E-MRS 2009 Fall Meeting Symposia (Topics): A: InN material and alloys B: Recent advances in ZnO based materials and devices C: Wide band gap II-VI and III-V semiconductors D: IR and THz electronics: from materials to devices E: New materials for spintronics F: Novel bio&chemosensing materials for health, safety and security applications G: Materials for membranes in energy applications H: Bulk amorphous and nanocrystalline materials I: Multifunctional advanced composite materials: manufacturing, structure, properties, characterization J: Electron & scanning probe microscopy in nano-technological applications E-MRS 2009 Fall Meeting abstract submission deadline is 11th May 2009. All specialists wishing to attend the E-MRS 2009 Fall Meeting and present a paper are kindly asked to register and submit an abstract online as soon as possible.
