田纳西大学招全奖计算机PHD 老板人很nice，学术水平也很高，funding充足。组内整体工作氛围很好，可以选择自己感兴趣的研究方向，老板一般也不会push，感兴趣的同学积极投简历吧~ Multiple PhD positions with full financial support are now available (starting from 2018 Fall or 2019 Spring) with Dr. Jinyuan Sun in the department of computer science at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Dr. Sun’s research focus on general areas of security and privacy (S&P), information assurance, trustworthy computing, wireless networks, and mobile systems, including android and mobile security, IoT Security, cyber-physical system security (power system). Applicants with security-related background (cryptography, network security, etc.) or motivation to pursue security research will be given prioritized consideration. The graduate program of Computer Science at UTK is placed 58th in all US universities according to US news 2017 . The EECS Department is also featured by its physical proximity and close collaboration with the Oak Ridge NationalLaboratory (ORNL), which is the major research facility of the US Department of Energy and owns the strongest supercomputer in the world. This connection brings a lot of research collaboration opportunities to UTK faculty and students. Students will have the chance to do summer internships at various ORNL groups, and will have the priority to be considered for US government jobs after graduation. The city of Knoxville is only 30-minutes driving away from the famous Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and has been evaluated by the Forbes magazine as the second happiest city to work in the United States. |
