| As can be seen from the Figure 10 (a), the PL integrated intensity of Eu3+ increased by thermal aging with at 573K with time going, it is attribute to Eu2+ in the NaAlSiO4 crystals were oxidized to Eu3+ during degradation processes. Besides, the ratio of the emission intensity of the 590 nm (5D0→7F1) magnetic dipole (MD) transition to that of the 610 nm (5D0→7F2) electron dipole (ED) transition (R = IED/IMD) was reduced evidently, the results show that the newly added Eu3+ has come from NaAlSiO4 crystals with high symmetry of eight coordinate (Eu2) and six coordinate (Eu1) site. |
