Senior/Principal Researcher - Acoustic Scene Analysis ![]() Job Description - Conduct advanced research and engineering for acoustic scene analysis, including sound event detection, distant-speaker identification, source localization and tracking, using microphone array, machine learning, and signal processing techniques. Qualifications - Experience working with state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms for speech and audio problems, including a strong background in neural networks. Additional experience with microphone array processing and adaptive filter theory is highly desirable. - Proven record of original contribution in a relevant research area such as: supervised source separation, microphone array processing, acoustic event detection or environment classification, speaker identification or diarization, or automatic speech recognition. - Familiarity with fundamental acoustics and auditory perception concepts. - Substantial experience programming in C/C++.
