Ph.D. positions: Texas Tech University, Texas, USA

Two Ph.D. positions (with full support as RAs) are available (starting from 2018 Fall) within the Department of Mechanical Engineering or the National Wind Institute at Texas Tech University (Texas, USA). The successful candidate will conduct research on Control of Renewable Energies and Smart Grid Integration under Dr. Beibei Ren.

Requirements:
- M. S or B.S. degree in EE, or related areas;
- Has TOEFL/IELTS and GRE scores;
- Experienced in Power Electronics;
- Experienced in MATLAB/Simulink;
- Excellent mathematical skills;
- Hands on experience in experimental testing;
- Dedicated, hardworking, and passion to learn more;
- Creative and capable of independent study and thinking.

- A research statement describing your past achievement and your research plan.
