Spring Festival is coming
|
| Spring Festival is coming. People from all walks of life are returning home by train or by plane at this moment. Every year many stories about people managing to go home and get together with their families touch me so much. Working and living in a city which is far away from our hometown is a hard struggle and people are expecting this grand festival to talk and visit their families. Going home seems to get rid of the weariness and hardship they've experienced. Spring Festival, to me , means a big meal, a family carnival, Spring Festival Gala, red envelopes, fireworks and firecrackers. My memory stays in the old-fashioned celebration. During these years, I have rarely tasted the real flavor of it. Many traditional customs are abandoned and many stylish ways are invented to weilcome lunar new year. Most youngsters only hold their smartphones and give an deaf ear to the outside world. They show no interest in the old traditions and they are not eager to take this opportunity to talk with their relatives. I can't read the expressions on their face. Am I too old to understand them？I feel I'm an outsider of this atmosphere. When I ask my cousin, "How will you celebrate the Spring Festival?" 'I have no idea. Is it anything special? 'She answered with indifference. I squeezed a smile and remained silent. Why don't we have passion to celebrate such a big festival? Don't we need a sense of cecemony to live our life and respect our traditions? Anyway, Spring Festival is coming. Please don't spend the wonderful moment with your smartphones while neglect your beloved family. |

Less tranditional cerrmonies during spring festival these years, and many people choose to have a trip outside instead of getting together with their friends. In other words spring festival holiday is only seven days for most of people, with the high speed development people need more individual time to do thing they like! Maybe I am also an old, I choose to stray at home with my parents having this traditional festival. Parents are happy with their children whatever their children are rich or poor, they are also happy to prepare more delicious foods for their children with no poins althrough they are t for preparing foods for their children. 发自小木虫IOS客户端 |
