The role of long non-coding RNA and RNA m6A methylation in host antiviral immunity

项目介绍：
Although extensive evidence has suggested the important roles of lncRNAs and m6A RNA methylation in host-pathogen interactions and host antiviral immunity. However, it is still unclear which lncRNAs broadly or specifically controls host antiviral immunity during viral infection. In addition, it is unknown whether the RNA m6A modifiers also participate in the battle between invading pathogens and host immune systems. In this project, we plan to answer these questions and figure out the detail molecular mechanisms. Based on the studies of the project, we will provide diagnosis and therapy strategies and targets for the infectious diseases.

培养模式：
该项目学制3-4年。由中国医学科学院苏州系统医学研究所、西交利物浦大学和英国利物浦大学三方联合导师共同培养，由英国利物浦大学（全球排名top100）颁发博士学位。学生在读期间的主要学习和科研工作开展主要地点是苏州系统医学研究所，同时也有有机会去英国利物浦大学短期交流访问的机会。在读期间免三年学费（约80,000元/年），课题组还将提供生活补助（3500元/月），且参加国际会议的最高补贴可达16,500元。

1、拥有免疫学、分子生物学、细胞生物学、微生物学、药学等相关领域硕士学位；
2、原211或985大学（或现“双一流”大学）毕业，本科成绩优秀(平均分80以上)；
3、具备良好的英文听、说、写作能力，雅思成绩6.5分及以上或者iBT成绩88分及以上；
4、第一作者发表过SCI或硕士毕业生优先考虑；
