´ó¼ÒºÃ£¬´øÀÏ°åÕÐPhd»òÕßPostdoc£¬×öÈȵçÆ÷¼þ·½Ïò£¬ÔÚPenn State Uni¡£¾ßÌåÒªÇóÈçÏ Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) and Postdoctoral Fellow Position (PDF) in the Area of Thermoelectric Module Manufacturing and Testing Responsibilities: The GRA and PDF will conduct original research in the areas including, but not limited to:  1) thermoelectric materials testing; 2) design and modeling of thermoelectric modules based upon the measured properties, and 3) fabrication of modules. The focus of the research will be on fabricating thermoelectric modules with efficiencies greater than 10%. Design and implementation of high temperature module testing equipment will be another area of emphasis. Target high temperatures for operation of modules include 600 ¨C 650 C. The GRA and PDF will have access to world-class facilities at Penn State campus and will be part of large team comprising of more than 25 researchers. Qualifications: The candidate shall have a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering or materials science and engineering with experience in areas of thermal transport, thermoelectric materials and modules, FEM and analytical modeling, and characterization of thermoelectric materials and modules.  Skill in operating characterization and test equipment (laser flash, thermal conductivity, spectroscopy, Raman, vibrometer, force and strain measurement) is also highly desirable.  The candidate should have demonstrated creativity, independence, high motivation, and good communication skills, both orally and written.  Strong work habits and the ability to work independently as well as within a research group are required.  The candidate should have demonstrated experience in developing and conducting original research, and the versatility to work in various research areas. ¸ÐÐËȤµÄͬѧ¿ÉÒÔÏÈ°ÑCV·¢¸øÎÒ£¬ÓÊÏäÊÇ wenjie7@vt.edu
