Dr. Xu Yuan has multiple openings for the Ph.D. student with TA/RA supports in the School of Computing and Informatics at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Louisiana, USA. These positions can start from Fall 2018. Successful candidates are expected to work on the cutting-edge research areas in cloud computing, security, wireless communications, networking, and machine learning. All candidates with EE, CS or other relevant backgrounds will be considered. Candidates with strong programming skills or Master degree will be a plus, but not required. The selected candidates will receive full scholarship support, including tuition coverage, living expense, and fringe benefits.

Dr. Yuan is an Assistant Professor at the School of Computing and Informatics at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He received his Ph.D. from Virginia Tech in 2016, and B.S. degree from Nankai University in 2009.
