Yours sincerely, Silvia Antonia Brandán, Ph.D Editor Journal of Molecular Structure Reviewers' comments: Reviewer #1: The research performed by Fu and coworkers shows a study of three Schiff base compounds. The authors conducted the synthesis and characterization via IR and NMR. The corrosion inhibition activities of three compounds were studied using theoretical and experimental methods. Although this work has some bright spots, I am afraid I cannot recommend the acceptance of the manuscript because the English is not good. The manuscript contains numerous grammatical, typographical, and technical mistakes. It is really hard to fully understand what the authors are trying to discuss. General comments: 1. The manuscript needs rewriting and proofreading before resubmission. 2. There is very little need to show the synthetic device in Fig. 1. An undergraduate student can configure such device according to the information in the text. 3. Some figures can be merged to reduce figure numbers. |
