This is oral English of analytical instrument organized by EWG1990 English group. Welcome to lesson 6. Today we will cover the third and final part of High-Performance Liquid Chromatography(HPLC).

Now let's begin the part 1:

☞ Vocabularies:

1. 响应时间 relative response
2. 校正因子 correction factor
3. 相似相溶原则 rule of similarity
4. 最小检测浓度 minimum detectable concentration
5. 外标法 external standard method
6. 噪信比 noise-signal ratio
7. 峰宽 peak width
8. 物理钝化法 physical deactivation
9. 校正曲线法 calibration curve method
10. 体积排阻色谱 size exclusion chromatography
11. 内标法 internal standard method
12. 二极管阵列检测器 diode-array detector,DAD
13. 标准偏差 standard deviation

Now let's begin the part 2:

☞ Sentences:

1. 内标法和外标法可用于对啤酒中的不挥发组分进行定量检测分析。
Quantitation analysis of involatile compositions in beer could be done by internal standard method or by external standard method.

2. 建议采用校正曲线法测定HNIW纯度。
It is prefer to use calibration curve method to analyze purity of HNIW.

3. 那么,如果重复执行度量过程,平均值和标准偏差会有多大变化?
Then how different would the mean and standard deviation be if the procedure were repeated?

4. 对于信号处理来说,其中一种方法是对信号的滤波,即在接收到的信号中提取有用的信息,提高信噪比。
To signal processing, one of the methods is signal-filter, that is, distilling useful information from the signal that received to enhance the signal-noise ratio.

5. 文中对仪器装置、色谱条件、样品处理、干扰物的消除、最小检测浓度、重复性、方法应用等进行了报导。
Instrumental installation, column, conditions, sample disposal, interfering component elimination, minimum detectable concentration, repeatability and applications of the method were reported.
