================================= VACANCY: PhD position in software defined networking using database and formal methods at Temple University ================================= The research group of Anduo Wang centers around improving networked-systems with database techniques and formal methods. My current research projects focus on software-defined networks (SDN). I am currently advertising a PhD position to explore the use of database techniques and formal methods to promote modularity of software-defined networks. --------------------------------- What I am looking for --------------------------------- The ideal candidate should have a undergraduate (and/or graduate) degree in computer science, math, or related fields; be highly motivated --- interested in rigorous methods and challenging real-world problems, and with good math and/or programming skills; speak and write English well. --------------------------------- What we offer --------------------------------- The candidate is offered a full-time position in computer science department at Temple University, located in the beautiful city of Philadelphia, with a reasonable cost of living and transportation amenities including good city bus service, and an airport. The monthly stipend is competent in the United States. My research group will provide the candidate with necessary support on all aspects of the project.
